[GrimDark] Crooked, or, Dr. Dycer is FKING AMAZING!!!!!

So, I know that there's a lot of things wrong with this. The low end is all muddy, the instrumental gets way too overwhelming in a lot of places (way too much going on). But I don't really know what I could have done to fix it. I spent months tweaking knobs, putting EQ and hi/lo passes on stuff, but nothing I did really "fixed" it. Can anyone with sound engineering/design experience pick out exactly what's wrong and how to fix it?

I'm not the sound-engineer type you're asking for, but I will say that you've got a very interesting track going here. I love the style, the lyrics, the plucked melodies and the vicious atmosphere!

I think you could have a look at a spectrum analyzer. That would show you where all the parts are peaking, and then adjust your vocals to peak where there's room. I'm afraid I can't really help you any further, though
