This is a special piece I made for Nightmare Night 2013. You guessed it, it's about Luna.

It's called Eclisped. What I did with this piece, was I tried to engrave Luna's boisterous and mysterious personality in it.

Intro: I like the arpeggio coming in here. I feel the overall volume might be a tad bit low on the pads and arpeggio, though. There's a sudden volume spike at 0:38 which kind of took me by surprise. There's also some pretty harsh volume fluctuations going on in the song overall, especially when the hats come in. When the hats start playing, they just stop. That annoyed me. Why the huge gap between the different segments, followed by the completely random pony samples?
A
t 2:33 the volume goes WAY up. I'm thinking this was intentional, to give me that Luna scare? But without a proper buildup it just comes off as a jumpscare to me. It made me look up a bit, but that's it. The outro chanting was eerie, and I liked that. Would have loved to have build more on that concept, or any of the concepts going on here.

Please don't take this too harsh, but I didn't really enjoy the tune. It feels unfinished, and like there's two different tracks with a gap between them. The melodies are all there. They just need to be bound together, and let play in their own glory.

Important thing to note: I'm purely amateur when it comes to music, I'm just letting you know how it feels for an outsider listening in. I'm sure someone else on this forum can provide you with some better, more specific, feedback.

Thanks for the critique. Again, the volume spikes and drops reflect Luna's personality. It is all one tune but I feel I kinda rushed it myself.
