Not sure if you went for a creepy feel, but for some reason that isn't what comes to mind when listening to this. Comes across as a song for a sad moment, to me - especially when the bass and the woodwinds (?) enter at 1:15. It's a kind of symphonic melancholy.

Great job.
oops I dropped the bass

will you pick it up for me

Personally, I'm just super-happy that a re-imagining of this game is happening in the first place. Story of the Blanks is such a classic in the fandom, it's great to see it making a comeback like this :D.

I feel there is only so much I can rightfully judge given that, as much as I'm trying to practice, I have yet to actually produce my own music. I can tell you, as just a listener, that it was definitely very atmospheric and creepy. Not *as* creepy as It could have been, but it definitely built up overtime and I liked the second half or so, from 1:18, a lot more.

How could it have been better? for some reason, I feel those sounds (strings?) like at 0:08 could be better - I get that it's trying to go for a sort of "nails on a chalkboard" sort of spine-tingling sound but it could be better to really create that sort of effect. As is, it's certainly helps to create the tension, but in my head, not "as much".

Again though, with my sheer lack of experience, you might want to take all this with hefty doses of salt.

The beginning has a very mysterious and ominous feel. That one is hit spot on with the pitch bent choir and chromatic. The area after 1:10 is good too, but some of the sounds seem to be a little more tonal, and while it still has a mysterious feel, it kinda incomplete. It still sounds great, but it feels like its going somewhere, but then doesn't.
