When the piano melody comes in I feel as if it is oddly paced, like it's out of time or something (that feeling goes away shortly though). Also, it sounds a bit static with regard to the velocities. I feel like this segment repeats a little too much, but by itself it's fine.
The reverse cymbal into the lowpassed kick is a little jarring, mostly because it's pretty out of place in what has so far been an entirely orchestral-esque song.
When the string thing is playing the melody I feel as though it should have a longer release; it sounds a bit odd when it suddenly cuts out like it does.
No complaints with the outro.
I feel like this song has a good length for how simplistic it is (I was expecting the song to be too short but I didn't feel that way here). My two biggest complaints are how the kick is out of place and the lack of different velocities on the piano's notes. A little more variation wouldn't hurt though (I realize you changed the melody but it didn't feel different enough just with that).
I don't see how this is pony though. It seems like you just took a non-pony song and put a pony in the picture. I don't think songs that are inspired by ponies but not really related should have the pony tag (that's just personal preference, however).
Thanks for the feedback! And I labeled this whole album pony because, while there are no pony samples or anything that has to do with the show directly, I made it while thinking about Luna, so I drew my inspiration from that. And Idk, while some people might think that's not really pony, I consider it to be xD
But yeah, thanks for the feedback, it was really helpful!
The nature of the kick keeps making me think some kind of kickass idm drum loop is going to kick in. Kinda gives the whole tune the feeling of an intro that never picked up into a full tune. The kick itself might also be a bit loud, although that could be a personal preference thing. Also determined much by the output it's played on.
