I tried really hard to make the 5/4 time signature work well here. Does it work? I like to think it does, but I'm biased. Feedback is, as always, appreciated.

You nailed the chillout aspect of this piece, and i really love the soundscape you created with your synths. The vocals you added, from Zecora were absolutely perfect for this piece. it adds a unique feel to the track ^^. I wish i could somehow mix in vocals from mlp into my tracks, but it doesn't usually turn out well :/.

and yah, the 5/4 works well ^^. Overall, nice job, there's nothing really i can find wrong with it.

As far as this goes, the best way I've found to do this is actually not to just pick up some vocals from the show and work them into the tune, but rather to write to the sample you're using. It's not something you can force. The fact that this is the method I use is a major reason I get somewhat standoffish when people tell me they'd like a version of the tune without the sample.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yo! Nice to see someone reppin' the piedmont (I'm sittin' phat in Raleigh atm ;3)

But yeah, this is actually damn decent chillout, and as mentioned, you worked the vocal in very nicely, and the time signature works for what you're doing and at the speed you're doing it. Love 5/4.

Keep it up.

Awesome. I'd say I might see you around, but I don't really get out much, and I usually miss out on NC Brony events. Even when I do go, I'm not usually very vocal about the fact that I make music, since I don't like to sound like I'm bragging or drawing attention to myself.

Thanks for the feedback~
