Wow, I am really slow and really busy. This song should've been posted like what, a week ago?

Anyways, here is one of the very few vocal songs I've worked on. It includes vocals from Harmoni Halo. Keep in mind, this is her first rodeo with singing.

(\ Much appreciated, bro ^^

I have a few plans on making a follow-up to it.
Though, thanks for the compliments and acknowledgement of instruments and concepts!

Alright, so I'll break down what I liked and what I thought you could do better with this piece.

What I liked:

I thought the vocal sample at the bringing coming it with a lot of delay/reverb was pretty nice, I thought it was an awesome effect, and that you implemented it well into the piece at the beginning, it set a pretty solid atmosphere going forward.

I thought the atmosphere in general was pretty good. It seemed very spacious. Some good liquid DnB if I do say.

I also felt that the progression of the song was good. The vocals were OK, but that's just my opinion, and I'm no vocalist myself, so take that with a grain of salt.

What I think needs work:

Now my headphones aren't the best, but I feel as if there was a lack of bass/subbass to really fatten the song up and fill the low end. That gave the kick a lot of room, as the kick was a little more airy and not as punchy, but I still felt it was an element that was missing from the piece.

Transitioning was good, but I thought it could've been better. The progression as I said earlier was good, but there just didn't seem to be much transition (FX, Sweeps, Cutoff etc) which I think could've brought a nice element to the song. Perhaps that was not what you were going for though, which is fine if you were not.

Hope this helps!
