<Pony><Original><Chill> Free Forever

Just did a little screwing around with pianos and came up with this. I sampled Pinkie Pie Swear by SGaP for the little vocal hook.

I'd like to hear some thoughts that aren't my own on this track, Thank you so much for the listen!

The synth layers are really nice, and the beat's good, though you could do a bit more with it - consider hi-hats! The choppy vocals work well texturally, but they sound out of tune at times.

Hmm ooo very nice notes n chords you be playin' there! though Piano in the beginning to 0:41 sounds a bit empty and weak. maybe add some more subtle effects to it like a chorus effect or some more compression or something. The reverb is nice but still needs some more beef to it. also that one note that is hit really hard at 0:03 and 0:09 and ect kinda is too loud. dont try to make the subtle sound of a harder hit key stand out so much that its extremely obvious that the note is being hit really hard.

and teh vocals.......um.....yeah...... ill be honest, i was lovin' dis song a lot until the vocals came in. :( im sorry but they were just out of tune a lot. with a chill song like this, less is more i think. little bits of voice slices popping in and out would work a lot better, granted they are in tune with the song, rather than constant vocals all the time. I mean you could make constant vocals work but they gotta be in tune with the song.

now on a more positive vibe, i love the piano notes. The high trill with a sudden chord then with more chords following it, it was all supa grand! :D and the kick was really good too. you know its there but its not in yo face. its in the background contributing to teh chillful mood. and the little synths n pads sound really cool too. basicly everything but the vocals sounded very well! :D

I absolutely love the piano and layered synths! And the little break at 1:20 is a nice touch.

The vocal splicing: I'm pretty sure that's straight from SGAP (Or was it PPS...??). I'm not a huge fan. Glitching already glitched vocals seems weird, and I'm just not sure they are right for the song. I would leave it as instrumental, it's perfectly fine alone! Nice work! If you re post an instrumental (or do your own vocal splicing), let me know!
