I really liked the idea of the drum intro, but somhow that bass just didn't quite fit in.

Otherwise from that, it was rather quite awesome :3

It starts at 0:48,

You could try working a bit on the sidechaining of it because it is a llittle hard, and it gets just a bit to loud when the drums don't play.

Otherwise from that there is not much more I can think of.

Very good atmosphere in this song here. Slightly creepy. Incredibly well made.

I thought I posted about this... odd.

I agree about the sidechaining. It's applied a bit too heavily, and the pad gets a little too loud when it pumps. I also feel like there's some clipping especially throughout the first movement. It's hard to tell if it's intentional.

I do really enjoy the drums and rhythms in the later parts of the track. They're very engaging.

I heard this when you put it up on your youtube, but I thought I'd give it another listen so you can get fresh feedback :)

Anyways, this track is near perfect in my opinion but there are two things I would personally like to see changed (just personal opinion)

1. the higher synth voice that comes in just before 2 minutes feels out of place. The notes are right, the gliss effect is cool, but the timbre of it seems a bit "off-topic" for lack of a better word. Also, its a bit odd it only shows up once for like 10 seconds and then disappears.

2. When you send the bass through that gate effect followed by the big drums (which by the way is frigging awesome) I feel like the bass should change notes (or something). That little breakdown was HUGE, but then there is no big change that can match up to it. Its great, but make it more dynamic after that break, and it would be amazing.

Cool stuff man. I get sort of an 80s kung-fu movie background music vibe from this. I think its because certain sections felt a little extended, as if you were leaving room for dialogue.

The drum intro was great but it didn't feel like the song actually began until about the 1:40ish mark and even then the entire composition still sort of dragged a bit for another half a minute or so. For a 4 minute tune, that's seems a bit much. Like I said, I LOVE the extended build up, but that's half your song right there. And the second drop out lasted a little to long as well. I definitely felt myself loose some interest there since it didn't feel as tense as it could.

As far as suggestions for making it better goes, I would recommend either shortening the build ups to make them more tense or, if you can come up with more over-the-top awesome, then extending the entire track length to match the epicness of the longer, slower build ups. On the whole adding some crunchy guitar parts for atmosphere and texture would be good, but as I'm predominantly a rock guitarist, I'm a little biased so take that advice with a grain of salt. Other than that well done! :)
