(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGsYzlCS ... e=youtu.be in case the embed doesn't work)

Had this idea for a 3/4 pop-punk song in my head for quite a while, but eventually figured I'd actually go about recording it! It's not 3/4 all the way through, so that's a change from the original plan, but I'm actually quite pleased with the result!

What're your opinions? :3

Wow, this is really nice. I think you had a really strong basis here, and everything blended together really nicely. I'm no good at mixing yet myself, and it might be my 'untrained' ears talking, but this sounded pretty professionally done, so really great work on that, seriously. I will say that it did get a little repetitive in a few spots, mostly toward the end of the chorus, and some of the lyrics are a little cringe-worthy. The vocals were really well-done too, for the most part, but I heard one or two places where they could use some tightening up. Seriously, though, this is extremely nice work. The embedded link doesn't seem to work, just so you know, or at least not for me.

This is a great song. Like really good.

Not really much I can say about the mix. I mean, there a few tweaks that I would make if it were my track, but very minor, mostly personal preference, and all tentative.

I do think that the choruses could do with a more obvious harmony; it already has a MCS feel to it, and an audible harmony line would suit it.

The 3/4 in the verses could be more emphasised. I was kinda confused the first few time listened to it, and it would take me more than half the verse to work out where the bars were. Not sure how you could accomplish this though, maybe a chord on a clean guitar or a louder hat on the first beat of each bar? It's kinda hard to give advice about this now though, as I've listened to it so many times that I can't unhear the structure, like when I first heard it.

And the instrumental bit after the interlude felt unnecessary. I feel breakdown would have fitted really well, or it could have gone straight back into the chorus.

Really great production, I've heard a lot of brony rock songs that were lacking but this sounds really well done in that aspect. Vocals are pretty awesome and you could do some double tracking IF you wanted to with some ahhhh's to complement the words. Like the twin guitar melodies, yeah maybe you could have some alternate melodies and a guitar solo for a little more variety but hey this is pretty spot on as is. :D
