ok so one thing i think might help your vocals is teh an effect called teh compressor. now i am not the best when it comes to vocals but from what i have found out, compressors are very good with vocals, granted that the vocal recording izn't supa bad and that the compressor is used sparingly.
here is kinda how i think of it. you don't want the vocals to fluctuate in volume any more than 2 dB. or maybe even 1 dB. because if it does, it sounds like a phone call or something rather than singing. like if you listin' to any woodentoaster song, all the vocals are like the same level of volume. and this kinda goes with any song that is well mastered. well maybe not EVERY song but a large majority.
i like the tune too. especially the drums :D it just the vocals that i think might be preventing this to becoming really cool sounding.
