[nopony] [OC] My second Export. All advice welcome :)

I used samples from Shortwave Numbers Stations, I think it sounds cool. But I'm pretty new at this digital music thing. My personal goal is to play at BronyPalooza :D I know I dont have what it takes yet but I am certainly working on it. https://soundcloud.com/inertiaclub/shortwave

Yeah, we do our best but we dont' always get around to reviewing every single piece of music.

Very interesting, to say the least. Although I'd classify it as just plain noise. The riser at 0.29 is just really out of context, the glitching is ok but not the best, the part where the wobble comes in just seems to appear out of nowhere, there isn't really any build up, and the wobble itself is ok but could be better. Overall, there doesn't seem to be much variance in the melody or rhythm much, so that could be improved, but not bad for a beginner. Not anywhere near good enough to perform at BronyPalooza, just gunna shatter that dream of yours right now because if I don't, it's going to get shattered soon enough, and truthfully, it's going to be quite some time, about 2 years average minimum, before you'll be good enough to start doing performances at somewhere the scale of bronypalooza. The only way to meet that 2 years and performing would be to remain dedicated to music and practice it a lot. Good luck to you with your goal of doing something like performing live

Sounds pretty sick actually, though I can understand if it ain't exactly everyone's cup of tea. My only gripe is the percussion, I'd much prefer to hear some samples. If you put a heavier emphasis on that aspect with regards to the tone and the attack, I could see this as a pretty tight hip hop instrumental.

I like this from the perspective of ambient/soundscape with a funky drumline on top of it, but it's definitely not the kind of music you'd see played live - this music has a very different purpose. :)

Definitely keep messing around and improving! Have you ever tried swing, for example?
