<Pony><Remix><Trance><WIP> Subhoofer - Loss

Yeah I don't use Diss Order for internet fandom things anymore, I got a new alias for that.

So, I started working on a little something today. I took a vocal from BBBFF and made a keyprogression for it, designed a synth, played with drums, played with soundfonts (piano's and a choir)... And after a few hours this came out.

Like with most projects, I now hit the point I get stuck though... Any tips or feedback on what I got so far?

It's sounding quality so far, not really trance though. I don't really like the scratchy kind of synth near the beginning, just my opinion though. May want to add some bigger pads and a snappier clap in the second part, maybe change up the synths partway through

oooooh disorder those vox are haunting my dreams nice work, with the drums and that synth is cool how it goes hi and low like that I'm not sure if thats a pad but its nice

Listened to this because Subhoofer is the best alias I've ever seen.

That acid synth isn't really sitting well with me. I think it could be an octave lower and fit better into the mix.

The bassline is a bit low in the mix, too. You could probably bring it out a little more.

Nine Volt: Sorry for not sounding like most popular trance, I suppose? It does classify as such though. And even if it didn't, I'm not going to change my music just so it sounds more like Trance... I just make whatever I want to make and then later add a genre label to it. :/

ph00tbag: I like the lead synth, I'm keeping it. And the bassline isn't finished, I just made something quick in 3xOsc and kept it there. If I make it louder, you'd actually hear how stupid it sounds.

And yes, I was like "OH MY GOD THIS ALIAS IS PERFECT" when I first thought of it. xD

I got a choir as a pad sound, and the reverb of that piano with cutoff filter fills up some of the emptyness as well.

Haha, that's not the only thing that's wrong with the bass. I'll try to work on something a little more decent, polished and fleshed out than what I have right now. What I got here is something I made in a few hours as a break from animation schoolwork.
