There was supposed to be vocal samples in here, but I got rid of them because they just took away from the song. My inspiration for this is strange, Though...
What WAS my inspiration? Well... This song was inspired by what I thought Twilight was like BEFORE I even started watching the show. Strange, I know. Anyways, I thought she would be the type to go out late at night and take long walks. Nobody around, no noise, and stars everywhere. So thinking back to that, I got the idea for this song, and I immediately started working. Hell, I was so excited to finish this that I had the whole song done in about 3-5 days (Excluding the mastering, which I did today).
I am very proud of this song, so I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it :>
That pluck bass synth you have playing in much of the song sounds like it might be missing something. I think it wouldn't hurt to add a tiny bit of reverb to it, at least in the beginning. Also, you could try modulating the cutoff frequency to make it more plucky. You did a good job using that crescendo cymbal (or reverse cymbal?) sample to keep the song flowing through transitions; that really makes it easier to keep the listener interested, and many amateur artists overlook this aspect, so well done there.
At 0:30, those pluck synths sound very nice. I like how you also brought in some hats as well and then the snare at 0:45. That snare sounds like several clap samples playing in stereo spread or unison spread, which makes for a good and wide stereo effect.
You also did a good job with the dynamics in the song, such as having breaks and releases at various points throughout.
At moments at parts like 4:10 through 4:40, a lot of the high end of the percussion sounds like it's being drowned out by the lead synths, or the lead synths are just too loud. You can spend more time with mixing there.
I think you did a pretty swell job of modulating the lead synths in the song as well.
I think the kick drum you have can be a bit more heavy and punchy, if you are able to do so.
