I based this song off the main character from the Memoirs of the Rose fanfiction. If you don't know it, look it up on fimfiction. A friend wrote it, and although it starts off a bit iffy when it comes to quality, it REALLY gets good quickly. But yeah, the song is much more apparent it is off the character the farther the song goes.

You did a pretty great job with your synths, in particular the lead. The biggest problem I can hear is the mixing. The kick drum sounds like it's being completely drowned out and it's pretty inaudible at most parts. Try EQing the bass or putting some compression on the bass if you don't want to lose too much of its weight. Additionally, it sounds like many of the hihats are being overtaken by the high end in the lead synths you have. EQ should help with that as well. Also, I think the song deserves a snare on every other quarter note (with the kick) at its most exciting moments, like at around 1:16 through 1:30; this will make it more trance-y as well.

I believe the kick is being drowned out at parts because of the "clap" I used for some back up with it. I could probably fix that. And I think the snare actually is like that on that part, I believe. Either way, yeah, I'll definitely keep this in mind, thanks.
