I haven't heard the original, so I don't know what's improved upon here, but I'll do my best to give you some honest critique.

I like that intro with the low pass filter action going on. Once the song starts, I noticed right away that the percussion is extremely quiet in relation to everything else in the song. You have some good vocal chopping/edits integrated into the song. Holy cow, great glitch edit at 1:06.

1:08 through 1:30 sounds the same as the beginning of the song. I think that this takes the listener back to the beginning of the song, instead of moving the song along. Try making it sound a bit different so that it sounds more interesting, rather than just deja vu of the introduction.

1:30 I like how the beat changes to that of drum n bass.

1:47 through 2:30 Although it's refreshing to hear this part of the song as drum n bass, it still feels quite repetitive, mostly due to the fact that the synths you have playing there are the same as before.

2:34 till the end, the song goes back to how it sounded in the beginning... again. In my opinion, this is too much repetition and you owe the song a bit of a change at this part, especially since it is the final section of the song. If you want to recall the beginning of the track, you could use that as your outro. Also, for this part, I'd at the very least change the melody of the vocals or add some extra harmonies, so that I'm not listening to the same vocals for 3 minutes.
