The rain/thunder sound effects are nice and add some great atmosphere, but perhaps they should fade more into the background or turned off completely once we, the listener, are well into the song. At least after the beginning.

0:25 through about 0:55 gets pretty boring because there's really not much going on in the song, even for an ambient track. There's just those loud sound effects and a synth pad playing with the same percussion pattern. There's really not much to keep the listener invested.

1:00 through 2:00 is the same as the first minute of the song, except you added in another pad. This wouldn't be a bad thing if there was already more to the song, but there isn't. Also, don't you think the percussion pattern gets pretty repetitive and boring after a while?

2:00 is when the song finally sounds like it's starting to pick up a bit, but even for an ambient-type track this is too long to wait. I like the addition of the xylophone or woodsticks or whatever the heck that instrument is called (I forgot).

3:00 is when it gets really nice, but unfortunately, we are already nearing the end of the song. It feels like the song should have started at 2:00. I like the addition of more pads, but it's still not enough for me.

You say that the song is meant to be peaceful, right? In that case, perhaps you should keep the thunder sound effects to a minimum; it makes the song sound more eerie to me. The rain is nice though. The rain is peaceful.

I would take out the percussion entirely to make the song truly ambient, and this could also help in figuring out what your song might be missing. If you wish to keep the percussion tracks, I suggest having some breaks in the song, rather than having the same track play over and over again. I think you did a good job with the delay effect as well. But really, this song just sounds like one of those nature sound effects CD tracks that you buy to help you fall asleep, and not so much a song.
