The first one is...
simply beyond my own comprehension.
I really haven't heard anything quite like it. Hell, I haven't even heard of the genre. I like the flavor, despite the fact that I'm slow to accept new ideas
However, it gets somewhat repetitive; changing it up a little can do good things.

It feels like I'm fighting some incredible alien boss battle.
IMO that's a pretty good job.

And the second one is pretty retro-video-game-like (I'm not sure if this is the right term, but... chiptune-ish?). Prolly due to simple waveforms and sounds, but it really takes me back to the days when sonic, mario, and games like them were still around.
They just don't make classics like them anymore.

The thing about the second one was it was a challenge: make a full song without listening to it until it's done. So natrually I chose chiptune because it was the easiest choice.

And yeah, the first one could use structural improvement, more progression, but tis the nature of house music.

Definitely wasn't what I expected going into it when I read a tribal house tag. The music sure has changed from when I used to listen to it.
