No problem!
I just want to add/rectify some things, now that I've had some more time to listen to it.
The opening does have quite a bit of variation now that I've listened to it more, but it's all in the strings. Utilise more of the orchestra in order to make a bigger soundworld than the typical strings making something pretty.
You could also add small parts for instruments. Little rises in the woodwinds, or maybe a solo trumpet belting out a high note on one of the repeats would work wonders. Nuance is key.
I just finished a guide on counterpoint and I hear none here. In fact, there's a lot of sections that would have benefited from counterpoint. Counterpoint ALWAYS makes things like this better, where there's more going on in the music, so consider that for the future and check out my guide!
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5110It will help!
With the copy/paste comment, the best way to combat it is to copy/paste, but to change the instrumentation. Switch the low strings for brass instead and give the low strings something much more rhythmic.
I'm hoping this will help more than my first comment of 'this sounds repetitive, fix it!'
TubeyouYou are the hero My Little Remix deserves, not the one it needs.
So we’ll hunt you. Because you can take it. Because you’re not our hero.
You’re a silent guardian of music, a watchful protector of songs.
A doctor of dissonance.
