Just something I've been working on lately, and something for you to keep in mind while I'll be gone for a month. I'll be working on this and the song for the Community Chill album during my stay in Germany; most probably without any internet connection, hence why I'd like to ask you for feedback before I'm gone.

Oh, and this was inspired by the Ponies: The Anthology 2 re-enactment of the 2001: Space Odyssey itself, hence why <Semi-Pony> tag.

And one thing that I think I can pride myself on is the use of presets, or rather lack of it. Only one, heavily modified preset has been used in this (and no, it's not the growly bass.)

That is some really cool sampling there. My only complaint is that the snare is a bit too soft, in volume and (to a lesser extent) in "texture".

It's 2 snares layered with 2 claps, with the distorted claps being more prominent on purpose. I'll look into the volume levels, though. Thanks!

I'm really not sure about the smoothness of the orchestral cut at the start of the electro section, it just feels a little out of whack to me.
Once the main beat got going though, that became much less of a concern.

I'm not sure what did you mean by the "smoothness" of that slice - is it the lowpass automation?
