Sorry for the SC quality.

My first attempt at going somewhere complextro'ish. I have spent about 3 hours on it so far, and I do realize some stuff is rather unfinished. Still gotta figure out where to go next with it, but I surely am loving my current progress of doing something completely new and unknown to me. I must admit this is really a cool genre and very fun to work with!

Feedback highly appreciated.

I really like this. It kind of sounds like it has an almost industrial-ish feel to it, but that might just be me messing up my genres again.

One gripe I have with it is that...it kind of doesn't go anywhere. The intro seems more lengthy than it should be, and it seems quite ambient. Not sure if that was a conscious decision on your part or not, though.

What do you mean by "it doesn't go anywhere?" It clearly expands as it progresses, varies a lot by the addition of various effects to the VSTs throughout the track... I honestly don't know what you mean by this. I have listened to a rather large number of tracks similar (yet obviously different) in style, and some of the examples I have presented here are rather classic.

The intro is far from being lengthy. In fact, I was really considering making it longer. I decided not to because I want to go for a second part after the bridge. Also - how is this ambient? And even if it was (which I disagree with) - what's wrong with that? I honestly don't know what to say, but this is one of the weirdest opinions I've heard.

For what it's worth, thanks for your opinion.

IMO you should have made the intro a bit longer. You could also still have the second part after the bridge in there as well.

This track progressives a lot too. A lot more than similar tracks I've heard in the genre.

Anyway, do you know where you are going with the rest of it yet? Because I like that bassy wobble that comes in at 3:21. I think you could expand off that quite a bit. Then make it go back into the previous part.
I'm looking forward to seeing this completed, great job so far!

Not yet, I want to make what I've done so far more interesting (more effect VST modulations, maybe a few more sounds to make it more complex.) It's a WIP after all. :)

As for the second part of what you said - I have no idea yet. This is the first time I'm working in this style; I like experimenting.

I'm not usually one for trancey stuff, but this injects just enough electro to make me appreciate it, and while I'm on that, holy crap the sound design in this song is awesome. My only real feedback would be maybe to switch it up when the electro bass kicks back in at around 5:20, like add a layer to the bass, or change the melody or something, because as it is it feels repetitive (again, I'm not usually for trance, because it tends to do this).
Youtube -- Soundcloud -- Tumblr -- Bandcamp (new album out!)

I can't feel my brain.

I know the ending part is basically the same thing right now with some exceptions (e.g. vox, white noise, changed patterns here and there), and I am most likely to do something to spice it up.

The thing I must watch out for is to not overdo this. The mix is already pretty full and there are no empty spaces in the "main parts." It must be very subtle.
