wow, this is really good for a first track. Better than some of the stuff that I do now haha. Although it could use melody somewhere in there to make it less repetitive.
I think you should shorten the ending too, just take like 2 or 3 bars off.
Other than that great job on your first track

This is really good, especially for a first track. Anything I suggest to improve it? Since you're going for a very "melodic" style (as you're not really delving into true ambience or dub/wubstep), it would sure help to have more of a melody, right? The synth you've got is great, but not much of a melody.

During some parts of the song, I was half-expecting some pretty piano melody to come in and take a center stage, but it never did. Anyway, I'm not brilliant or even accomplished at composing, so take it more as opinion, rather than truth. Just what I'd have done for those parts (around 1:14, for example).

Still, this is a great effort for a first track and probably much better than my first track. I really enjoyed listening to it!

This is a really well built piece, all the sounds are solid. You're well on your way to a distinctive sound. =) Just throw some more melody on this man. In my opinion, it would lift this piece up to a whole new emotional level. It is quite relaxing as just chords, though. Really fluid feel.

I'll have to agree with DijiTwitch, very enjoyable as a chill-out session track! Definitely adding this to my favorites. Very mellow sound, fantastic for your first project. As the others have stated, if only my first attempt had been half as good... *sigh*
