I just realized the YouTube video cut out the last few notes. No worries though...

I want to let the music do the talking for my first post. I am actually a metal guy, but I found a love for electronic music and really wanted to get in on it. I feel as a musician, I can do more than what I can do in my metal arrangements... or rather I can do something different. I can't have happy melodies in a metal song

But this song specifically I quite enjoy. It's different, and you can tell. That's probably not a good thing, but eh.

And if someone can tell me what genre this falls under, it would be much appreciated

This... this was pretty awesome. Just a couple things in my opinion that would have worked a bit better, first is the bass, there seems to be very little in this song . Next the kick and snare are really weak, getting some more punch behind them would be awesome! My opinion anyway

Again though, it was very enjoyable!

I'll keep that in mind. I really will. I'm still getting used to the whole instrumentation thing within this style. It's tough for me to make everything fit like a glove. I'm going to play around with some more patches tomorrow and see what I can do for my next song in this vain.

And you're right, the kick and snare is downright terrible . I just need to find new samples. These aren't cutting it for me. I might just do that tomorrow too. Either that or I can place them higher in the mix, but I don't even want to think about that at this hour!
