Not a bad start at all!
I suggest you do brush up on theory if you're going to do orchestral...or any music for that matter! You don't always have to follow it, but it's good to know.
And do some research on Orchestration, that stuff's important.
For the piece itself, it had a nice transition from the beginning to the main chord progression of Rainbow Factory. Considering it's for String Orchestra, look up the word 'counterpoint' and then utilise that idea throughout.
Also, possibly find better string sounds, or at least ones with round robins. The samples you have are nice enough, but the repeated notes are obviously fake. Round robins eliminate this fakeness, so if you can get samples with them, that'd be great!
A fantastic start!
TubeyouYou are the hero My Little Remix deserves, not the one it needs.
So we’ll hunt you. Because you can take it. Because you’re not our hero.
You’re a silent guardian of music, a watchful protector of songs.
A doctor of dissonance.
