Fluttershy, you're such a [song title]. This was my first "serious" song under the name Element6. Serious meaning I tried to make it sound good, not meaning it actually does sound good. I'm open to any form of constructive criticism if anyone feels kind enough to give it, I mean, it would certainly be appreciated. Nevertheless, I'm pretty happy with this song. I kinda proved to myself that I can actually make something somewhat listenable at a time when I was beginning to doubt myself. I'm definitely going to keep working on my music making knowledge and ability, it's too much fun to give up on.

By the way, I hope I posted this correctly. Forums are still new to me.

Correctly posted! Congratulations! :P

Do you know music theory? That lead around 1:27 sounds a bit dissonant. Also the song's a bit repetitive. It may or may not be necessary to have that square/ supersaw synth playing the same riff all the time... A bit of variating never hurts.
And it has quite little tonal material, as the samples are not very melodic and it doesn't have many instruments.

You gotta start somewhere though. Don't give up! Eventually you'll get awesome tracks done. Everyone does, if they don't quit.

Thanks so much! I certainly won't quit, like I said, it's too much fun making music to just quit.

I've been reading about music theory in various places, it's one of those things I'm still learning about but haven't been able to apply just yet. Hopefully the whole idea will catch on, and I'll be able to understand how to make each sound fit together and such. Truth is, I've never taken a music class in my life.

Your tips are definitely thought provoking, I've written several new ideas and "things to remember" into my music notebook. Thanks again for your time!
