<Pony><Original>Last Rays

The goal with this one was to soundtrack a mental image of Luna ushering in the night, which is definitely not a unique or ambitious concept, but I had fun making it :D
Any feedback/criticism at all would be great! (Particularly on the EQ-ing. I don't think I did a very good job on that.)

I really love the birds and other sounds you added at the beginning. That's a really nice touch to show the transition from day to night. I love 1:30-2:05 most in the song because it seems really thought out and everything is really cohesive, especially with the extra noise in the background (I'm sorry I don't have a more technical way to put that hahaha). I really like the flow of the song in general, although I'm not so sure about 2:08-2:20. That part seemed a bit random to me, or at least not as powerful as the rest of the song.

Have you thought about adding something to the end to paint a picture of night time like you did at the beginning with day time? The end of the song sounds a bit darker, so I don't know if that's what you were getting at.

Altogether, I really like the song! =D

Good work!!

Thank you very much for the feedback! I really like the idea of adding in sfx at the end to make it sound more like night.

I'm not entirely sure what you're saying I should change about 2:08, though. Do you mean that it doesn't fit in with the rest of the song, or that it needs to be more distinguishable from the rest of the song? That part echoes 0:59 for story-line purposes, so I don't want to cut it out or replace it, but I'll definitely play around with it to improve it :)

Whoa, really nice atmosphere you got goin on here! I dig the sound effects you're putting in, really gives me a mental image of night time :) I'm really impressed with the guitar work, very catchy melodies and riffs you are demonstrating. The percussion part seems like it's a bit out of time and random, I like the way you were goin with it, but maybe try playing it again and lower the volume on that a bit? Anyways great song you've got here, brony, loving how unique and talented the fandom is man

I see what you mean about the percussion. I'll give it another go.
Thank you very much!

I think I'm just not a fan of the instrument (or whatever you used) during that part, but that might just be me. The placement of that part makes sense to me, and I really like it, but the part staring at 2:08 didn't flow as easily as the part at :59 to me.
Hopefully that makes more sense, but I probably did a bad job explaining hahaha.

Also, I'm just throwing it out there that this is one of my favorite songs that you've done, and definitely my favorite pony inspired song of yours.
