So this is my first song ever. Also my first post.

So yeah, tell me what I did wrong

A few things:

1. Welcome to MLR! Here's our intro thread, go say hi to everyone, especially Kyoga

2. For a first track, this is actually really good! I especially like the drums, very nice and breakbeat-y.

3. In terms of feedback, first and foremost I'd have to say that it'd probably be a good idea to sit down and do some work on sound design, because simply using your own sounds in your tracks as opposed to presets can make a song twice as good, and a more accurate expression of you as a musician, and so on and so forth, blah blah blah I'd also say that it might be a good idea to work a bit more on fitting the samples into the song, because as it is, they stick out more than any instrument. Maybe look into EQing, because that can usually fix issues like that.

What colortwelve said (though I can't identify presets worth shizzle other than ones used with Sytrus. I don't hear any here so if you did use some, good job! You fooled me!)

I think you could definitely lower the volume on the samples without too much damage, and overall the song could use some more variety (that's personal taste on my part. Sometimes repetition can be great, especially depending on the genre of choice.) Also, you could definitely continue that end filter out effect all the way to the point till it sounds like the songs coming out of a telephone from a distance. Probably cutting all but the 10 khz frequencies (not sure off the top of my head).

Great work though for a very first attempt. You've got a good sense of melody (it seems in the jumpy happy category), and that goes far.
