<remix> Friends Forever remix

I was at work Friday with Foozogs's remix of Friends Forever stuck in my head, and I started to wonder what would happen if I took the hook, put it in half time, and played it on a super saw. I had the weekend off, so I cooked this up yesterday.



Let me know what you think. I used FL Studio for the composition and mixing, and the synth work was mostly done with Synth1 and 3xOsc. I used Magnus Choir for part of the pads.

And if you get the joke in the pseudonym, you will be my Friend Forever.

A couple things. I think you did a fantastic job as this has a great vibe and has a great progressive feel that it takes its time to move from each section but leaving clear transitions between them all. Maybe that's more due to the original remix and I had to check Foozogz's remix as i'm more familiar with Chain's original. The tempo has a lot more to be desired here tbh so i think it was a great decision to remix this. A remix of a remix is still a great idea when the quality is this good.

ps love the Ferry Corsten reference. I used to hang out with Paul Oakencolt back in the day

at 2:55, the vocals sound kinda off (time)
Also, it sounds very noisy, but I'm not sure if that's your problem in mixing, or the horribad soundcard on this computer (I'm writing this from my cousin's). Also, I hate 909 hats.

On the compositional part, I really like how it flows, and how the instruments are placed.
