<pony><remix><dubstep>Ricky Cruga - Nightmare Night

...And this would be the perfect excuse to finally upload another video to my Youtube channel.

Anyway, this was one of many, many remixes of Ricky Cruga's epic track 'Nightmare Night' done at Mr. Cruga's request to be considered for inclusion in his album. As you may have seen, it just came out today, and I was very surprised to see my remix included among all the other awesome stuff going on in the album.

But I digress. This is actually my first real attempt at dubstep, and I'd like to see if I can get some feedback on it for future reference, in case I ever decide to try to step the dub a second time.
Youtube -- Soundcloud -- Tumblr -- Bandcamp (new album out!)

I can't feel my brain.

It sounds INCREDIBLE, but the bass needs to be a bit more... full. It feels kinda muddy compared to the rest of the track. Nothing that the power of EQ can't solve! Also, add a bit more sub bass.

It's a good remix. Really like how you kept the feel of the original but went in a more liquidstep direction. I agree with DarkShadow above, the bass is very muddy. When the sub is blasting I can't hear the bass drum at all. A tip is to use sidechain compression, especially on the sub, so that it ducks down just very quickly when the drums hit.

This is exactly what I thought. Great remix but it could've used a little bit more work.

I liked it, but it seems like it sort of around having a really epic moment in the song and never quite got there. Other than that I thought it was a pretty great track! Never heard the original though.
