I don't listen to this genre enough to make a solid critique, but I can say I enjoyed it quite a bit. Just when I thought it was about to get too repetitive, 2:13 happened. Nice work on that ending, and well done on the song as a whole.

Well if I named a few progressive bands, you may be surprised, Blind: Alan Parsons Project, Muse, Rush (One of the inspirations here), Asia, Dream Theater, etc.
