<pony><original> Captain AppleJack & The Seven Apples

So I was talking with some guys over at the Newcomer chat in Skype, and they mentioned this Toastbeard thingy that I had no idea what it was. After looking it up and get a bit of insight on it, I decided to give it a spin.

The weekly theme was to create something pirate-ish. At first I wanted to make a song about Pipsqueak, the young pony with big dreams of pirate life and adventures. But then there's so many soundclips with him that you can use. So I decided to go with Applejack instead, as (to me) she has way more and interesting soundclips to me to play around with.

This was a blast, and I would love to this again sometime.

just so you're aware there's a tradition to post in MLR AFTER Toastbeard and not before, that said this is fun! production could be a little cleaner, with some nicer vsts, and a little less muddled a sound but i still appreciate how this definitely fits the theme of the week very well. good luck tonight.

Actually this has already been played on the Toastbeard. I waited with sharing it here until it was over. I hesitated with actually uploading this until the very same day (without sharing links, of course). ;)

I wanted to use Kontakt instruments for this one, but I couldnt load my samples, so I had to stick to my good ol' SampleTank & Edirol on this one. I guess I used a little too many strings (Wanted to use proper violins, if I had them).

Thanks for the feedback! :D

Pretty much exactly what DJ Pon-3 said; it is pretty awesome and i like it alot. It has a nice feeling to it, it could easily fit in a video game.
With that said however, it does soung a bit muddled. With some better samples this could really shine. But still, it is a really great song. Well done!
