<Non-Pony> Pinkie Pie Fireworks

Postby Habanc » 20 Feb 2012 10:44

So, I've been working on this one track for the past few days, and I think it's shaping up pretty well. I've essentially "completed" the song, but I have a habit of tweaking things for days on end (and, once or twice, throwing it out altogether).

It could be pony, but just slapping clips in there after the fact kinda feels like cheating. Or is it? [/unsure]

Right before the second drop it came out a bit funky (something must have screwed with an animation filter), but eh. It happens.

Tear it to pieces, lads. Qualms, praise, questions, problems, whatever.

Thanks!

EDIT: Ermm.... Final Version?

ooo! them synths are slicin' my speakers!!! :D but i feel it needs maybe one more instrument so that it feels less flat. maybe some like harmonic bass thing or maybe not. idk. but it does sound really good! i really love the side chaining synth. pumpin'!

and i think its best to make keep it non pony. cause i made a song and thought to my self, "Hmm. ponies in music = possible feature on EqD! :D:D" so i did it and now i feel guilty cause it wasn't meant to be a pony song. :( but what ever you do is fine.

Mhmm, I think I'll stick with non-pony for now. Karma and that kinda stuff.

And yeah, getting the sound to fill out has been my problem the entire time. Maybe you're right; a good, warm bass could really help put some backing to it. However, that might clash a bit with the lower synth and require me to do something I am not very good at, EQing(yikes!).

Well, whatever, it'll come with time. Thanks mate!

Umm, updated with the "Final" version... Something in my mind tells me I'll end up Re-mastering it due to my perfectionist habits, but whatever. I hope that my sucky EQ and mastering job turned out fine, but to be honest I've listened to this song over and over so many times that everything sounds a bit dull.

About the title, it just hit me as I was looping it through. Don't judge me. T.T

Thanks, both of you guys!

I'm about to work on a rap beat for a friend, but mayhaps I could get working on something else on the side.

Glad you enjoyed it!
