<Original><Pony><Prog Metal> In the Shadow of a Rainbow

This is pretty much garbage, but I figured it couldn't hurt to post it. I'll do better next week. I cut out a lot of the song because I was almost at the Toast Beard deadline. That's also why I never got around to re-recording the vocals and lead guitar to satisfaction, and programming decent drums.

Dude, this is awesome! I have no idea what you're talking about! I loved the guitars. You have a really good mic, too.

Dude, shut up, those guitars are killer. D: Also yeah, the song could definitely use better drum programming, but I think the toms at least are pretty meaty. I like that. Plus, the song is pretty varied, and it went by in a flash. I think if you worked on the drums, and polished the vocals a bit (and I don't mean rerecording them, just... polish them. I don't have much in the way of advice there; vocals are hard D: ), you'd have yourself a pretty brilliant song.

Why are there so many awesome guitarists in this community. :c

Thank you for the kind words, it's really quite encouraging. I sometimes think that I'm a bit too harsh on myself, but that drive for perfection is how I got this far.

I'm going to revisit this one when I get some significant chunk of free time. (Curse you, mandatory public education!)

We all feel this way. Every single one of us treats ourselves like we are horrible musicians. It's just the musicians code, it seems.
