Well I am new o.o haven't said much so far and I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do but I joined because my other half told me I should, other half being Facade... And so here I am o.o
I guess that is it... I'd love comments on this song o.o
I am not very good on guitar so I usually just focus on lyrics and somehow my singing got worse and worse in this recording but... Here it is.
Kind of different I think since most original pony songs tend to be either electronic or rock sounding.

Yay a female singer! There were a few vocal portions off-key but otherwise it was quite good. My recommendation (for the future) is if you can seperate vocal and guitar takes you can likely fix any particular sour notes and re-record over those (as well as overdub a second vocal attempt for a better chorus effect). I'm not sure what software you have but if you don't have any you could easily do this in audacity freely in the meantime.

I've got a whole thread on how pony music is different than wizard rock which was almost all rock /guitar based so its nice to see some guitar oriented artists coming forth. Simpler singer/songwriter tracks really would be welcomed and needed by the community Please keep making music as variety is the spice of life and you are our cinnanmon.

I would welcome you to check out this thread if you could let us know why there is a distinct minority of female MLP fans and musicians. I think you'll have a unique perspective on this and its more important to ask female fans than necessarily a bunch of male fans on why this is the case.

Haha Audacity is all I have right now actually hmmm so you think I should rerecord it? Good idea, I think I will work on that tonight. Maybe I can get Facade to play the guitar for me xD haha (this is me planning to ask him to do such for me) but thank you so much for the tips I will use them!

Awe well I am so glad for the positive response this song is getting!! I didn't think it was that good or much of anything really o.o so I appreciate this a lot. I'll keep writing for sure, maybe by tomorrow or Monday I'll have another song up... I'm not sure but I will try all the same.

ps for those who weren't paying attention to the lyrics i like how you focused on the often un-noticed relationship between Sparkle + Spike. While everyone is always shipping him with Rarity it always makes sense that there'd be feelings developing between those 2 charcters especially if a love triangle introduced itself as they basically live together. again good job and i'd love to hear your re-recording if you go that route.
