<WIP> MANEHATTAN NIGHTS

One quite of a pony original project I'm working on...
A few notes about this:

1.) Of course there's going to be vocal.
2.) Yes, drums are loops but I'm going to add some accents and variations. For now, drum transitions (or perhaps transitions in general) aren't really that okay since I haven't figure out what I could add to it. Suggestions?
3.) What is this exactly? Typical dance pop/electronic pop? Trance? House? Synths and chord progression are more to trance but I use a house beat (since actually I was thinking on house on the start).
4.) Since I'm going to add vocals, are the music is as good as it is? I know it's hard to judge since the vocals are not there, but what do you guys think?
5.) Song's about Vinyl.

I'm liking how this sounds so far. Sure, you could add some flashier drum transitions to your song, but I think the ones you have right now work as they are. And yeah, since I haven't heard it with your singing on I'll say the music sounds great, but if the song is going to be longer and you plan to stick with the same motif/vibe for the rest of it, you might want to think of adding something to keep it varied, different arrangements to keep it from becoming stale and stagnant. But overall I think this has potential to become something awesome. c:

Oh, i like this.

Since you're going to add lyrics later on, i'll say that the music is really good. Like SunAndTheRainfall said however, i'd try to make it a bit more varied. Just adding something small here and there to keep the listener interested.
Overall, very good. Looking forward to hear the finished song.

I can't wait to hear it finished!!
I think it's sounding great, I agree with the others though.
Great foundation :)
When the lyrical aspect is added, I'm sure it will be awesome.

This is sounding awesome, I really like the direction you've taken so far. Style wise this could be called progressive house which is generally a mix between house (the beats and bpm's) but that also sounds similar to trance. I think you've got a hit here. Can't wait to hear it with vocals. It's too early to say it needs more variation if there will be vocals on top that we will be paying the most attention to.

Thank you for the feedbacks, everypony.

MY KEYBOARD'S SUDDENLY BROKEN FOR NO APPARENT REASON 8D
And I'm at panic looking for the manufacturer's local address and my warranty card, that, if it's still applicable. This isn't the first time. I have two same keyboards, they all are broken. FFFFUUUUUU

Hmm,,, I knew progressive house is similar to trance but I thought it would be ruled progressive is it's starts calm and slowly progressing to climax until the end of song. But I guess, that's the closest genre I can think of too :D

i think the progressive part owes a bit to to progressive rock in the desire to change-up as it continues and the fact that when it started it was actually progressing house into something different (and trance was just as new at the time). A good chunk of the trance coming out at the time was German but the progressive house music was british and then they met in the middle and were hard to tell the difference from each other (Sasha, Digweed, Global Underground, etc, were the big dj's and labels behind it) and TBH a lot of that stuff didn't climax or go for the epic vibe like a lot of the late 90's trance stuff did, a lot of it was just very chilled and trancey house. Feel free to nudge it anyway you want to go as you have a great foundation here regadrless of the genre.

I hope your keyboard starts working!!
