Awesome man thanks =) means a lot coming from you as one of the best orchestral bronies there are!

Still requires a lot of work though, this is going to be my project for the next good few weeks I think. Need to listen to lots of movie soundtracks. I'm fairly good with piano as that's where my roots lie, but when it comes to adding most layers I tend to stumble :?

Ponydonn, that acoustic is great! I don't know why, but I imagine Jeff Bridges singing this. :D

Started a demo three weeks ago of Pinkie's Lie, though it's going to be on hiatus for now. My Mixcraft 5 program is in a Vista Home Premium Laptop, and since I began to use Massive it's been giving me "fatal errors" and removed Massive from the VSTs. I'm gonna need a new computer methinks...

Working on a Pinkamena song.

Ignore that choir at the end, it's not finished. I forgot to take it out before I exported it.

Well, I'm currently working on two pieces of music at the same time. The first one is a piece I called "Music Is Magic", which is supposed to be a medley featuring all pieces of music from Season 1 and 2. (You can find an example in my discography.)
The second one is called "Luna Republik" (sic) and can be best described as a "movie suite for a forum role play". It's somehow based on notacleverpony's "For The New Lunar Republic". A demo can be listened to here. It's finished. If the link does not work yet, wait a few minutes, as I'm currently uploading it.

We'll see how it works out. It might be hard to make BWY OO-OO-OO AH UHHHHHHHHHHH sound Irish. Maybe I should open up the genre window so I can deliver: Irish electronica.

Also, how do I directly link songs from Soundcloud? :o

Like that:

Code: Select all
[soundcloud]Your Soundcloud link[/soundcloud]

In your case that would look like that:

Code: Select all
[soundcloud]http://soundcloud.com/djgage/rainbow-factory-djg-remix-wip[/soundcloud]

Result:

Was bored so i asked myself: Which genres haven't been mixed? Ohh! Neurofunk and waltz!
So I made a short neurofunk song in 3/4 with a dominant note per measure song structure of waltz and the bizarre alien sounds of dark drum n bass.

How it worked out is debatable but here it is :P

I do like this, but it feels too slow, and doesn't have the pumpy high yet dark energy that neurofunk usually has. Keep it up though, love the evil sounds :D
