I'm surprised people don't swarm to his posts on this forum, from what I've seen, he's the best on this forum....

EDIT:
I just started a while go, so I probably don't know what I'm talking about...but here's what I felt about the mix:
in the first transition to the seventh wonderbolts (one of my favs), I would turn down the bass of the oncoming track so that the two kicks don't add up. Then turn up the bass as you turn down the ending track.
The second transition goes into a song without a heavy kick, unlike the seventh wonderbolts, thus I would have looped the beat of the seventh wonderbolts, during the portion that there was no melody. But even before that, I would wait until the instance the bassline and melody end in the seventh wonderbolts to introduce the building melody of the third track. so basically, at this point, you'll have the other song playing with the beat of silva hound looping. slowly lower the beat's volume, but don't completely cut it off. When the first build up of oncoming song breaks, then do a hard cut to turn off the looping beat. this way, it becomes a seamless transition, and you will solve the colliding melodies (which creates discord...something about chocolate rain)
in the third transition, I would have introduced the beat of the pwny anthem a little earlier, like when the build up breaks down. this allows for the sound from the oncoming track to feel like it's part of the track tat is already playing (right, cause build ups normally are used to introduce a bass line or another drum sound etc?). besides that, I believe it was a great transition
fourth transition: I LOVE THIS TRACK! xDD great transition!
fifth transition sounded pretty good, though, I'm not a big fan of the song played, and the melodies collided just a bit, and it lasted a tiny bit too long...(love that comment someone made that knew nothing about MLP xD)
sixth transition thank goodness that song ended xD
seventh transition another great transition!
eighth transition I feel you cut the song a little to fast to rainbow n dash. It was like...i don't know...too soft for a hard cut, and too hard for a soft cut, and nothing was introduced from the oncoming track, and the ending track sort of just ended... IT didn't sound terrible...just sounded a little rushed...I really don't know what I'm saying anymore xD
ninth transition, another great transition!
Overall, this is the best brony mix I've heard so far. the bias might be that I like the genre it's generally in, and I know the tracks chosen, but honestly: all the beats matched, all the transitions didn't make my cringe, none of the beats were stuttering, and it's 48 minutes long! XD in fact, maybe I should be getting tips from you xD
PS: What are you using to mix? I only have a USB sound card and an M-audio X-session pro...couldn't stand using only a mouse to mix anymore
