Ghost remix contest

Postby Neu_KatalYst » 23 Dec 2011 01:17

this is just an idea, but i wanted thoughts - especially since i'm new (lol Neu), and would like everypony to get to know me.

as everypony hopefully knows by now, Alex S got his channel back up, and his Melting Pot of Alcohol song got put back up with it - BUT, with remix files in the description.

i think you guys know where i'm going with this. what do you think?

So, what you're suggesting is some kind of... kind of remix competition, using the aforementioned files posted by DJ Alex S? Why, sir, that idea is MAD. MAD I tell you MAD! So mad, in fact, that it JUST. MIGHT. WORK!

I'd participate; but it'd be a side project.
10/15/2014 - I finally return to ponies? Maybe.

Actually it was more like 10/12/2015

My current SoundCloud, pony & non-pony things found here.

I have 4 EP's under this alias!

Somepony talk to me, I are the lonelies. :c

I'm not the best remixer, but this idea is just spiffy, dear sir. So is this just "hey go do this and post it here" kind of deal? Or are there competition rules?

eh, no rules, other than to try to use any combination of those provided samples (obviously), and to made sure it has some semblance to the original.

really, the only reason i posted at all is to see how many would be interested.

I'm always interested in musical thingies! Are there any due dates? Or is this leisurely?

While I await your response, enjoy this Minecraft version of my OC pony I made just now: http://i.imgur.com/80N5q.png

I started a remix on that... Procrastinated a bit though
Although if this becomes a thing I'll gladly re-open my project file and enter :D
