Rock Farm (Original)

Postby Radiarc » 18 Dec 2011 08:43

It's like everyone forgot about Pinkie Pie's rock farm; finding fanart was tough.

""There was no talking...there was no smiling...there were only rocks."
Inspiration hit me like...a rock.
She spent all day long farming rocks.
A dot of pink in a world of grey...that's what I see."

Hope you guys like it.

This is beautiful. I especially like how you used the voice clips. DLing right now. This is my favorite kind of music.

Beautiful song. I like songs like these that show that the character isn't one-dimensional.

One of the reasons why I disliked Pinkie Pie at first was because she was super happy and random all the time, but then "Party of One" and "Cutie Mark Chronicles" showed that she was capable of feeling other emotions.

Can't wait to hear more of your songs!

This is beautiful.

I am wondering though... there is this intense drone throughout the song, and I'd like to know exactly what it is.

I stuck a synth sound in there to make the song seem "heavier".
It was a really low note, and I may not have done that great of a job controlling the volume (my laptop's sound card ain't too awesome, so there's probably more bass in it than I can hear).

This is awesome, the type of song that is perfect to listen to when you do other stuff, like studying.
I am not sure why, but i actually get Star Craft vibes from this one, and that isn't bad.
Really good, love it.

I was a bit disappointed, because I was expecting a build up with drums at some point in the song, although, maybe that's just my tastes.

But I loved this melancholy feel. It reminds me a bit of the OST of the indie game, Aquaria.
