Ok, so here's my new dubstep song with a really interesting deep sludgy bass.



Please comment, critique. It really helps me to learn from my mistakes.

Thoughts while listening, beginning at the first drop; This is deep, but I wouldn't really call it sludgy, and it seems really quiet. (Turn up headphones) Okay it's not quiet anymore. Still wouldn't call it sludgy though.... 2:00~ This seems to lean a tad more toward sludgy, but it still seems lacking... I like the vocal clips... 2:45~ OH HOLY SHIT. I like it; quite a bit.... Still seems less Sludgy and more... echo-y...

I have a very basic grasp of the VST I/everypony else use/uses and if this was made with Massive, for my personal tastes I would've removed the tube effect, it seemed lessen it, or was that something else?

Great song, though the drums seemed really quiet through the entire thing, even after I turned it up, maybe that was just my end though.

Thanks. The problem is at my end, bad mastering both with the bass and with the drums.
Well I guess I didn't manage to get a sludgy enough sound, I'll try again

needs maybe a second instrument combination after the 1 min mark, It s a nice heavy synth but seems a bit bare. drums are really buried and not there. at 2:50 it really comes to life (well done). like the concept (not enough Discord tracks are there?)

If you want a second pair of hands on it lemme know as I'd be willing to remix it (upload some stems) as I think there's some really framework there. Otherwise keep at it.

thanks i think i've mostly come to the conclusion i suck at composing so maybe i can help out in the remixing and dj'ing portion. thanks for the upload and i'll keep in touch on how that goes.
