What with the Back to the Bassics thing going on I figured why not try my hand at older styled dubstep. This isn't exactly it. Really, this is more of a liquid, pad-filled song accompanied by a respectively massive sub bass. Literally, everything's a pad 'cept the drums and sub.

So yeah, uh, feedback would be great and all!

For some reason, the link in your post doesn't work, but here:

It's very chill, I like the style you went for. The phased pad sets a cool atmosphere. At around 0:56 where it picks up, it has a really awesome climactic feel, for lack of better words. I feel like there should be some kind of melody accompanying it at parts, but it sounds fine with just the pads.

The main issue I had was the drums were a bit overpowering during the quieter parts, which really wasn't a huge deal.

I'd like to see the polished end result. It has a lot of potential for where it stands, and it's overall a really relaxing track you've got right now.
