I recently got RealGuitar, and decided to test it out with some Tool. Also a little bit of an exercise in mixing, though I didn't spend a terrible amount of time on it. Feedback's appreciated more than usual for this one :3

Its a lovely track, reminds me somewhat of a borderlands (the video game) background music track and I love that game, especially the music.

I think some of the toms and drums can come up in the mix, use some velocity variation (randomized) to make them more 'real' sounding and to keep them different each hit. You of course don't want to go over board, just enough to give a more human element to them rather the perfect computer sync'd and sampled sound. I would also automate the panning little bit so they constantly change location, even slightly. They should also be more balanced; a loud tom on the left needs to be followed by a loud tom on the right to relieve that tension it creates (you have a loud tom on the right with nothing on the left). Same can be said to the cymbals to a lesser extent

A bigger issue, in my opinion, is the stereo imaging is very wide, the mono summed signal is very dry sounding and to some point quieter than what lies outside the stereo field. It sounds really unnatural when you hear sound coming from (and outside) the speakers rather the space between them.

I love it and I would also love to master it if your wanting to release this.
