<Semi-Pony> Hornet Nest

Finally!
So, a few weeks (months?) back, got bit by a wasp. Later, I watched "Fall Weather Friends", and laughed a little harder at RD being chased by the bees. That's... really what started this song.
Went for Aphex twin, but added more string orchestra, and liked where it was going. So far, it's the 2nd song out of about half a dozen I've finished :?

[EDIT]: There... really shouldn't be that ridiculously long ending... also, should probably remaster this at a slightly higher volume...

The first minute and twenty seconds of the song is pretty repetitive. I like the glitchy drums you got there, but those get pretty boring to listen to after a while too, due to lack of variety and dynamics. Also, there seems to be an incredible absence of any sort of chord progression in this song; it's just the same melody being played over and over again.

At 1:20, I think it's good that you took a break from the percussion to help keep things moving and interesting, but there's almost nothing happening in the song besides the drums. There's just those same strings playing. It's pretty boring. It's good that you at least changed the melody at this point.

There's a lot to improve upon in this, in my opinion. I'm not quite sure what kind of song you're going for, considering those very quiet glitchy drums playing along with the strings, so it's hard to give feedback on the style/atmosphere of this song. The things that stand out to me the most in this song are a lack of chords and an excess of repetition.

Much thanks for the response and constructive criticism! :) I'm definitely going to work more (as in, a lot, LOT more) on chords and chord progression. Music's still not my forte, but I definitely want to improve (and, as you said, I can do a lot of that).
