Rainbow Factory Guitar cover

Postby BronyMetalMix » 26 Sep 2012 14:56

Hello everypony,I'm just started here. A friend of mine told me about this place and I thought I'd sign up. I've just got into writing songs on my guitar and I have FL studio and I'm working on a orginial song right now. Anyways, this is a rainbow factory guitar cover I made a while back and about a week ago I put it up on youtube. I'm so far happy with the response I got and I do up you all enjoy it aswell. I know it's not the best sound,I had to use a webcam mic and I used my mini amp because it was late at night when I was recording. I do plan to get some new recording equipment by the end of this year which is good. Anyways I do hope you take the time to listen and tell me what you all think of it.

Thanks,
BronyMetalMix

Thanks for telling me what's wrong with it. Listening back on it I hate the way it sounds to tell you the truth. I hear the missed notes,I don't like the way some of the chords sound, the single notes sounds strange, the timing aswell is off,a few hit but muted notes in the solo. I'm trying my best to improve as much as I can.

P.S I have found a more iegitimate way of recording,I just need to get the money is all for it. But I should have a better way of recording by the end of this year

Cool that's sounds nice,I'm looking at the Shure SM57 for $99. I hear that's really good. :) Do you have any good interfaces and headphones you'd recommend?

That's cool,I got the demo for FL studio and I'm still trying to learn it all. But it seems nice. I'm actually learning Smile Smile Smile for guitar, and I'm playing it and it sounds ALOT better then my cover. It's more following tabs then just the chords(not saying that I wouldn't want to learn the chords to the actual instermental.) and I'm playing to the lyrics so like when you play the intro it sounds like the structure or timing of the 1st verse.
