Second Reason 5 project, first pony song ever, first time trying this style. One thing I'd like advice on in particular from anyone listening to this is on the sub-bass in particular. The deep end of things just doesn't seem to come through on this without causing overloads and clipping. Should I look into tweaking my sub-bass more or is there something further I need? Should I calibrate my basses to have a fairly prominent low end and layer that on top of the sub-bass? I refrained from doing so originally because I thought it might muddle a bit. Advice from anyone with a bit of experience would be very helpful in this matter. Thank you, in advance.

I feel like this has real potential, honestly. The way you go about to make this is a good idea, but it all sounds very choppy. It just jumps around in a near incoherent matter. Not to mention the pauses are positively awkward except for a few. The drums are much too quiet for dubstep. Mess with some more effects and stuff to get a better sound, as it's positively dry right now.

However, I do like the synths you used, especially the deep, sinister growl. The idea is good as a whole and I feel like it has potential.

I love this track! I would say that you should look into filling some of those empty spaces because that would make it flow a lot better but other than that you killed it!
