Really like what you got here so far. The trumpets are great, but I think there's not enough emphasis on the cello or contra bass, and the bass and drums. Those are your lower frequency instruments. If you can maintain bringing the trumpets to the front of the mix while having the rhythm of the drum and bass instruments have a presence in the mix (but not over do it), it can really bring some energy to this song. Hell, maybe the drums alone can make this sing if you mixed that up or compressed it a little. Other then that, sounds good to me, good luck, you have some potential here.

Not to say Ghost's advice is wrong, but I think the cello/basses are fine. I think what NEEDS to be done is to add low brass in there to help them/to add more bass, which I think is the main critique Ghost was giving.
Drums do need to have more presence though.
