I made this for Aviators' remix competition. I hope it's up to standards.

What I'd most like to know is if using the Carl Sagan samples was worth it. I filtered out as much of the background audio as I possibly could without making his voice sound too muddy, but there's still some left.

Also, if someone wants to identify the genre, that would be great, because I have no idea what to call this.

This sounds pretty awesome dude!!! loved the sample!

Im not familiar with the sample, but my guess is that it had a bunch of background noise to it? In my opinion, it might be easier and maybe better to use it to your advantage. Take for example what Princess Addictia did in Balefire with that sample. While its not a perfect example, the mood is entirely different, you get the idea. Set it low, in the background, but still audible enough to be heard. Could add an interesting effect if done right. Just my two bits.

But yeah, loved it!!
