I got the idea to try and re-create an African village spontaneously bursting into song : )

I wouldn't say this track is finished, but I probably won't end up coming back to it either.

This took way longer than it should have to compose, but it's like 95% midi so...meh.

Sounding really good! The opening reminded me of Age of Empires...I think it was the sound of a busy village...
Anyway, things to improve on:
1) The speedy drumming at that section at 3.10 onwards sounds obviously synthesized, maybe take a look at that!
2) African drum patterns rarely play an unsyncopated beat, so syncopate it more!

And I just read that you probably won't be coming back to it...
Oh well, still, a very fun piece to listen to!

Hey thanks for the Critique. I did want to try and make all the instruments sound as realistic as possible. I thought to pitch bend the flute to mimic the effect of running out of breath. The right amount of reverb on those drums probably would have made a fair difference now that I think about it.
