Alright guys, here's what I got so far for my BP entry.

Sadly, I go on detachment tomorrow, and will be gone through the BP deadline, so I'm asking for any and all feedback to help make this song the best I can.

And no, I will not appreciate, "Needs to be harder," as a form of feedback, unless you give some constructive advice for how to make it harder, because I've been literally trying to make a BP track nearly every weekend since the project first took off, and this is by far the heaviest and darkest song I've made.

Anyway, with that out of the way, my biggest issue is blending my basses in, so anybody relatively experienced in blending multiple basses together, and blending them into the song, I could use any tips you've got.

Baschfire: Thank you for the advice, and helping me transition back to the octatonic scale that the song began in.

IT ARE NEED TO BE HARDERLY.

But seriously, I couldn't find anything too wrong with the track. I guess the disconnected melody for the bass isn't very fitting for the rest of the track, but it definitely doesn't ruin anything.

I don't have much experience with blending basses and I could hear some of the transitions in this were rough and felt forced. What has worked best for me is to leave one bass sound out for a beat or two (maybe even a bar) before you change it. Giving a little breather from the bass is a simple way to do things, I know, but its hard to fail at it. I think some of the bass could be heavier in terms of 'clean' distortion and eqing (giving it a little boost could go a long way). I suggest looking into the plugin called CM Waveshaper, you do need to buy any Computer Music magizine to get it (less then $20). The plugin just increases or decreases the output gain or separate input gain levels (You can increase what ever sound in playing at -20 db nd decrease those playing at -30db).

I guess I may be late in answering but its worth a try :D

A bit late in answering, but thankfully the suggestions you mentioned I had actually gone in and blended the whole song better, including the basses.

The boat's internet won't let me connect to youtube, but you can find a preview of the updated version at http://www.youtube.com/user/navybrony

I changed my lower "yoi" bass to utilize the same waveforms as the treble packed bass, which helped them blend together a bit better.
