<WIP><Original><Pony>Equins of Eternity

I've decided to create a party album will all chiptune style party songs. Each song will be a minimum of 10 minutes, and a max of 20.

Here is a demo of the first song(currently still a WIP).

The track still needs allot of EQing, so i'll be working on that as soon as I have the song it self completed.

Let me know what you think!

Your right it needs a lot EQing, there is a lot clashing together but I'm sure you can hear it. I think it needs more variation mostly in the drums and some in the melodies and basslines would only help. Some of the sounds are too static or just uninteresting and it doesn't help when a track is 10 minutes long. You have a lot of work to do on the mix too. Parts like 2:49 are mixed very poorly; you can barely hear the kick and other drum elements, the melody is too far in front of the mix.

Keep working at it.

Thanks! lol yeah, the Snare and bass drum were pretty quiet. Although I have them doubled up on 2 channels, they seem too soft. I've gone ahead and lowered the volume of the main instruments to give a bit more leeway to the drums, I've also gone and fixed a problem with the base drum in the final section. looks like one of the hits was a bit off, making it sound a bit strange.

I've gone ahead and done some tweaking of the volume levels withing the channels them selves. this way the peak volume won't surpass the limit. say goodbye to random crackling within the track! :b
