<wip>some chord progression I want a second opinion on

Postby the4thImpulse » 17 Apr 2012 19:03

I have been working on this progression a little bit over the past two days and would like to know if it repeats too much. The clip is a minute long, there are two synths playing the plucked notes, the drums are placeholders for now, the synthesis is close to want I want in the final track.

Tell me what you think, I really like it but I seem to make my songs too repetitve sometimes (espicially this prog stuff).

The chords are fine, as long as it doesn't go on for more than four minutes and has something going on either in the background or the foreground. Other than that, pretty nice.

This particular part would reapeat once more and I will change up the synthesis for the second part. The rest of the song I think will build into this.

Great. As long as it builds up into something more filling, it shouldn't be too boring and repetitive.

This is a small clip from the track, I was more asking if the cords themselves worked and if this minute was enough variety in them.
Thanks for the response :D
